I didn't know the team know as "No Qualms" before being assigned to this project but I am glad I now know the team, they are keen and enthusiastic indivudals and great company to work with and be around socially.
David a.k.a Leo approached me after speaking to a lecture at my university (Thank you Robin Sloan) asking for audio recommendations for their project entering the first gaming conference held at the XPO North event held in Inverness (formally known as GoNorth) but because the The project started as at a game jam and then they guys saw potential within the game and the team itself to push forward with the "Stay in school" game design.
If the truth was known I am intruiged by water and the life that lives within it, I also love being creative and having the opportunity to take on new tasks so being asked to create some music for an underwater game with a hint of mystery and danger I couldn't exactly turn it down, what guy doesn't like a bit of mystery and danger?! ;)
I didn't have long to work on the project neither did I have many plugins so I was pretty limited to what I could do but I like a challenge, and it still sounded underwatery as far as music goes I guess.
The team were pleased and I was too, for the amount of time I had anyway, here are a few samples;
